It is so wonderful that we help each other when needed. One day it could be me. For the portraits, we strolled through the center of Stockholm and passed Humlegårdsparken and Lärkstaden. Louise & Jonathan held hands and giggled, and I guided in their flow as I love to do. It was really hot so we stopped at cutest @petit.marche.sthlm to sit in the shade for a while and I took this picture I love so much. ”Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back.” ~ Pluto ~ 🙏🏽💛 When I got this beautiful email from Irina my heart did a little leap of joy, because of the way she spoke about my art work, and how that inspired her with her own wedding. ”I found you around half a year ago on Instagram and saved your images. I like your work. I hope you are still free on the 2nd of July. We would be happy to have you as a wedding photographer.” I met Irina & Kiryl on this warm July 2 at Stockholm City Hall. Irina's beauty was absolutely breathtaking, and they where so beautiful together. Although I have extensive experience as a wedding photographer and have photographed over 100 weddings, and many at Stockholm City Hall, I get so inspired when I meet my bride and groom right there on their wedding day, and the curiosity of what we will create when we start walking together. I like to start there, when they sing their song, the magic unfolds. And what I love about the visual arts is that I am brought back to the same emotions, joy and warmth I felt that day with Irina & Kiryl and their friends. They still inspire me. ”I have drunken deep of joy, and I will taste no other wine tonight.” ~ Percy Bysshe Shelley ~ ✨ When I met Ásta & Þorsteinn at the very North West corner of Iceland, in the small beautiful town of Bolungervik in the Westfjords, a wonderful friendship arose. I will always long to return. Their wedding day was so joyful, and Ásta wrote this post on Facebook that made my heart melt; “I got to admire Sandra and Anneli, Sandra was the photographer all day with us this summer and brought Anneli who recorded the whole day on video. They are amazing with a great personality and absolutely amazing skills, and after the wedding, everyone was talking about how cool they were. Also just everything around booking her, all the little things Sandra did for us, the little gifts for the wedding, how professional she was with contracts, handing over the photos and helping with printing and doing more with the photos afterwards. At least I made friends after this trip that I will definitely book again for the next occasion. I recommend them 150%! I’m blown away about my freaking amazing couples, their families & friends, and also the fantastic suppliers I have met. I’ve been working almost every weekend since may, and I haven’t really had time for social media because I wanted to be with my family in-between weddings. “We can only learn to love by loving.” ~ Iris Murdoch ~ ✨ I was out walking my dog in the woods early this morning. The sun peeked in between the trees where the singing birds are busy with the spring chores. We stopped because it was obviously something very interesting to sniff at. I waited patiently and looked to the side and only 10 meters further in stood 3 deer and observed us. I looked back at them. My dog was also curious, but no one made a sound, barked or fled. We stood there for a few minutes in complete peace, respecting each other's space and being. I felt a kind of pride to be able to share the forest together. Then we turned around and continued calmly in each direction. In these times of anxiety and anger over those who do not respect anyone's space and being, this little moment felt extra much love in my heart. #lifeqoutes #irismurdoch #alovebeyondtime #stopthewar #istandwithukraine
